Incubating New Disruptive Technology Ventures

Thursday, September 27th, 4:00 PM

IEEE Engineering Management Society

Whether in an established company or fledgling start-up, leading a new venture is a challenging, but potentially very rewarding endeavor. A leader of such an effort must manage technical and business uncertainty, choose a venture path (corporate entrepreneurship, joint ventures, technology/business acquisitions, venture funding, spin out), and balance the need to take risks while delivering predictable execution.
